No one works harder for intelligent, fair pro-consumer software law than Cem Kaner.  His book Bad Software is an invaluable tome on how the law can help you if software bugs bite!  That link also includes essential information about how you can help defeat the Uniform Computer Information Transactions Act (UCITA).  You can also read about Cem and UCITA in Chapter 4 of TSC.

Think software must have bugs?  The Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie-Mellon doesn't.  Read about them in Chapter 3 of TSC.
